Southern Cross Swimming Pools was first registered in 1961 by Mr O Dorrity, and was also involved in the formation of the Swimming Pool and Spa Association (SPASA). With fierce determination, vision and energy he set out, and quickly established the company as a leader in the pioneering days of what was a rapidly expanding industry

Under his guidance the development of design, planning and construction techniques established in those early days, laid a sound foundation for the company to build on over the ensuing years.

The accent of the company has always been on quality without compromise. The strict adherence to this policy has resulted in Southern Cross Swimming Pools being contracted to construct swimming pools in some of Melbourne's finest residences. The company has never pursed a policy on high promotion, its success resulting primarily from recommendations from its many satisfied clients.

Southern Cross Swimming Pools P/L is a proud company that stands on its record of fifty years of continued experience and service. The excellent designs, high standards, workmanship and quality of today's pools are all a product of that experience and pride with each pool receiving the personalised care and attention of our experienced staff, specialised sub contractors and using the best swimming pool equipment available.
